About The Founder

Our Founder

Rob Stolk

More People
More impact

As the creator of this initiative, I will briefly tell you my background. My name is Rob Stolk and I am a war veteran. decorated with several awards, including two Purple Hearts. I am also a retired firefighter, HazMat and fire diver. 15 years ago I had a serious traffic accident and suffered a passionate spinal cord injury. I couldn't do anything anymore and had to relearn everything. Here I experienced first-hand what it is like to be completely dependent on others. For several years I saw nothing but the room I was in. This gave rise to the idea of doing something. After 15 years, it turned out pretty well for me. I can do a lot myself again. I can even drive a car again. After a very long battle with my body, I have won this battle so far.

So support me with this initiative and make it a success

Thank you

International
charity

We approach our initiative internationally. We do this consciously. We don't want to go for a one-off small project. We want to expand this to several countries. Of course, we start small and want to expand our initiative every year. This is the reason that we initially do the basic language of the website in English. We are going to see if it is necessary to release the website in other languages.

We are a Non-Profit organisation

This means we don't pay salaries to board members. The donations are used in the broadest sense of the word for the benefit of the disabled for whom we have established our foundation.
It's that simple
Our foundation is governed by the law of the Netherlands

(The legal definition of a charitable organization varies between countries and in some instances regions of the country.)
